Pokemon diamond and pearl for ds or ds lite is kind of new it has been around for a year now. There are other pokemon games such as pokemon mystery dungeons of time and mystery dungeons of time and darkness.There are games for almost any system like Nintendo game boy, playstation2, nintendo64 and playstation1. You can never run out of pokemon games.
Pokemon is a show,game or card that is imaginary characters that have pp witch is the numbers of the moves that the pokemon can use meaning if a pokemon has 5 pp it can use the move 5 times. A pokemon also has hp witch is the pokemons life {ex.100hp ex.2 50hp}. A pokemon has ancient and powerful move like quick attack and water gun. A move does a certain number of damage like if quick attack does 10 damage and the pokemons hp or life is 60 you tell your pokemon to do quick attack and does 10 damage than the other pokemon that has 60 hp or life and you use quick attack then you take away 10 hp from the other pokemons hp or life.
The only thing different about diamond and pearl is the main pokemon palkia for pearl and dialgia for diamond. In the pokemon pearl game or diamond game for ds that you can get at almost any game store that sells ds games such as gamestop or ebgames you have to follow the instructions that the people tell you and the professor that studies pokemon you pick one out of 3 pokemon turtwig, piplup and chimchar.The pokemon has levels too and if you keep leveling up the pokemon evolve meaning go to the next stage but,they only have 3,2 or 1 stages.A pokemon can only level up to 100.To level up you battle people or wild pokemon.The wild pokemon are in the grass so you have to walk around in the grass. To battle people, people look at you they ask to battle you. Like I was saying you start off with one pokemon but there are also items called poke balls.You use the pokeballs to catch wild pokemon.You can only have six pokemon but in buildings you can find the pc witch has a pokemon storage system.It stores pokemon in boxes.You can rename the boxes or switch the back round.

Continue your adventure and beat all the gym leaders with are the leaders of the town but you have to beat them in a certain order.The main objective is to fill up the pokedex. Also beat the elite four and the champion.If you do all that than you beat the whole game.
