Epinions Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: - The Dawn of A New Hyrule

by  jeremy1456, top reviewer in Games ,  Mar 2, 2007
Pros: Fantastic Style and Good Graphics, Fun Gameplay, Lots To Do
Cons: Too Easy, Wolf Sequences are Boring, Overworld Could Have Been Larger
The Bottom Line: The Wii's First Killer App is Worth The Price of Admission.
Review: It was a victory for gamers everywhere when Nintendo first unveiled The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to the world. After the release of Wind Waker, Nintendo fans began to doubt that they would ever see a mature Zelda title again, but this game ...

Epinions The best Zelda game ever!

by  alicia9n26,  Oct 5, 2007
Pros: gamplay, graphics, sound
Cons: none except the controls for Wolflink
The Bottom Line: Awesome game! Its a must have for any Wii owner.
Review: The first ZeIlda game I ever played was The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons for Gameboy Color. After playing it I started to get into Zelda games. The next Zelda game I played was The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past for Gameboy Advanced. After ...

Epinions Twilight Princess: A Newcomer to Zelda's Take

by  beekd91,  May 16, 2007
Pros: Plenty of tasks at hand with a great story and barely any mechanical flaws.
Cons: A few weak music tracks, very easy.
The Bottom Line: This is the reason to buy a Wii. A must for almost any video game fan.
Review: Some game franchises are timeless. There are just some games that have commonly known (well, to nerds like me) icons or are even icons themselves. Mario is a good example; I’d say a large chunk of the general public can identify the little Italian ...

Epinions Wow...That's All I Can Say

by  maddogdenny,  Nov 20, 2006
Pros: Best Zelda ever, engaging plot, I could go on and on.
Cons: Controller has a bit of a learning curve.
The Bottom Line: Like people, no game is perfect, but this one comes as close as I've experienced. This is the must have for the Wii.
Review: I feel the need to make a bold statement here. While I can say with almost one hundred percent certainty that this is the best Zelda game ever made, I think I can also say, with some certainty, that this is the best game I have every played. Period. I ...

Epinions The best 3d Legend of Zelda yet.

by  tommy_lop,  Dec 10, 2006
Pros: swingling around the wii mote to swing the sword
Cons: only a little bit harder then the wind waker,
The Bottom Line: Best Zelda game I have plyed in a long time.
Review: I first heard of Zelda TP 2 years ago when I was reading the press coverage from IGN.com and found out that Nintendo lied about the next Zelda using Wind Wakers graphics engine, on the screen laid a beautiful OOT looking Hyrule with an OOT Link traveling ...

Epinions A Link to the Future

by  onionhead2001,  Jan 23, 2007
Pros: "Fifteen words maximum" it says... Ha!
Cons: A few nitpicks.
The Bottom Line: This spiritual successor to Ocarina of Time is a remarkable achievement, and an easy contender for the best video game ever made.
Review: I don't envy the pressure that Nintendo must face each time a new Zelda game hits the shelves. The series has proven consistently excellent since its inception in 1987. Its low points (Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, and Wind Waker) are still better ...

Epinions The Legend Only Grows

by  RockguyKev,  Nov 22, 2006
Pros: New control scheme, New forms/mounts, Long/epic, It is LoZ...
Cons: No voice acting, No orchestral score, Too many sounds out of the Wiimote speaker
The Bottom Line: Unless you suffer from Simulated sickness (Dizziness while playing) or have always hated Zelda, Buy this game! If you don't have a Wii, buy one and get this game!
Review: It's finally here after years of waiting, and...it is on the Wii? That is right, the once scheduled Gamecube game is now the star of the Wii's launch lineup with the Gamecube version coming in the near future. Twilight Princess is the latest installment ...

Epinions Similar to the original 8-bit version, but definitely newer and better!

by  loti20,  Oct 28, 2007
Pros: Similar to old Zelda games, easy to learn controls, thought invoking, good for all ages
Cons: Some scenes are dark, 1 character (Midna) can be annoying, wolf scenes could be better
The Bottom Line: A great game with hours of entertainment. Mysteries and puzzles will keep you interested, but aren't too difficult that it'll frustrate you. A definite 'must have'!!!
Review: Like the original Zelda??? Give this one a try! The basics are the same... using maps, getting rupees, buying items, beating bosses, etc. And while the basics are the same, the plot is thicker, the graphics better, and it is more interactive because ...

Epinions The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

by  wendg,  Jun 2, 2007
Pros: The variety of weaponry and equipment; the epic feel
Cons: Boss-defeating objective is a bit derivative; some human characters are disturbing to look at
The Bottom Line: This is a must-have title for the Nintendo Wii! I recommend taking your time with this game. Suck as much enjoyment out of it as you can.
Review: My last experience with Zelda was with its launch of "The Legend of Zelda" on the Nintendo Entertainment System more than 20 years ago. This isn't out of disdain (in fact, I enjoyed the game quite a bit), but rather the desire to graduate high ...

Epinions Gaming doesn't get much better than this!

by  jk24,  Feb 8, 2008
Pros: Graphics are terrific, controls are well-done, excellent story.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
The Bottom Line: This game will take you about 35-40 hours to beat. And then, you will wish that it was even longer. What a game!
Review: If you have ever played a Zelda game from Nintendo, you know that the franchise is known for fantastic story-telling and a superior adventure/puzzle experience. “The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess,” to me, is the crown jewel of the Zelda catalog ...
