Nintendo Wii Console

The Wii is the only console I have owned that has been truly family friendly and has been used by everyone from my five year old niece to my seventy year old grandmother.

The simple controller and straight forward games make it really easy to play and is great for people who would not usually play video games.

However, there are still enough more complex games for the seasoned gamer to enjoy and the remote and nunchuck controllers can add new elements to some classic games.

Overall, it is a great console and the best for the whole family, although serious gamers might be better off going for a PS3 or Xbox 360.
