Too bad they die so young...

Do you ever wonder how companies decide on how long to warranty their products??? This one is covered for 90 days, and that seems to be their average lifespan.

This thing is very useful when it works. My first one lasted about 1 month which is, thankfully, within the very short warranty period. The replacement lasted about 5 months and then died in exactly the same way as the first one, and the same as many others I've read about. They just stop turning on. I won't be buying another Palm product, ya just can't trust them to work in the long term.
