Small camera with big features

I read a lot of reviews before buying my first digital camera. You see I'm from the old school in photography. Things like white balance confused me, we did all that with filters. So easy these days. I got out of photography when digital came around.
After reading and looking at what I could afford, the Lumix DMC FZ8 fit the bill, and what a camera it is. With it, I'm feeling like I did with my Cannon's and Nikon's You wont be sorry you bought this camera. I get rave reviews at with the photos I show people.
Forget what the pro out there say about the noise I shoot from 100 to 400 din and I would compare it to Nikon or Cannon in the same category.
