Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ81 42 in. HDTV-Ready TV

I'm not a high end user. I just want to watch games and HD shows and movies without noticeably poor quality. But I'm very pleased with this unit, although a true perfectionist could probably give you some cons to go with the pros. I found the remote intuitive and easy to use. I have the Panasonic set on a a small stand, as wall mounting is expensive and limits future options if you change your mind where you want your plasma tv. Wall mounts look cool, but I'd apply that expense to a real projection HDTV-ready big screen setup most likely. I'm very fond of the Viera's black levels, too - dark objects, shadows or dark scenes appear more realistic, and this, in my opinion, makes the pictures look excellent.
