Philips 42PFL5522D 42 in. HDTV-Ready TV

I waited years and years for a Philips LCD like this, and now it came out! I bought this display because I knew it was a significant advancement over last year's models, and because I have always been very satisfied with Philips products. I was not disappointed. The 42PFL5522D has an absolutely fantastic picture, fairly easy setup, great styling, and I didn't dislocate my shoulder lifting it onto my TV stand, as I find it fairly light for its class. I've owned my Philips HDTV for about a month and I love it. (Note: I'm a football game junkie.) I found most TV retail stores have poor settings and picture sources to make proper decisions or comparisons, so I took the plunge and bought the Philips 42 inches LCD just off reputation and new features. Boy was I pleased!
Easy to use, great picture, great sound although I am now putting sound through surround sound speakers. The size is large, though - be careful if you order on-line!
