Makes things a lot easier

The Bottom Line: This product has made so much easier for me. It gives me complete freedom of movement and time.
Being a photographer, I am always looking for products that will make my life easier. I had been wanting a remote control for my Canon Elan film camera for awhile but I had not decided which one to purchase.
Previously I had been using the automatic timer to allow the camera to take the photograph. While this method was acceptable it did not give me much time to compose an image, so everything had to be almost perfect to begin with. As we all know when taking pictures this is sometimes difficult to consistently achieve.
I had considered purchasing a wired remote as that would give me the freedom to take the time I needed to set up a shot. While I was at my local camera store looking at it the clerk recommended that I look a the RC-1 wireless remote.
Suddenly I realized that a wireless remote was actually perfect for me as it would allow me total freedom of time and movement. I wouldn t be restricted in any way. It would even allow me to be in the picture itself if I chose.
I have been completely satisfied with my purchase. The batteries last a long time and I am free to move about when I am composing. This makes it much easier to set everything up exactly how I envisioned things.
