Works great, but check your burner

This version has been around for quite some time now. Roxio's idea of making a slight upgrade is to release a whole new version number to feed the cash cow.

There isn't too much that the new version can do that this version 6 can't. One thing to be aware of is to make sure that your DVD/CD burner is supported. Some new ones won't be recognized by this software, and it will only get worse as time goes on.

I have used version 8 and the OEM of version 9. The Roxio 9 XE version is the equivalent of the deluxe version of the retail package. Beware - it caused a newer workstation to continually reboot after installing. I had to not only remove it from the system but clean out the hundreds of registry entries to get it to work. The Roxio 9 SE (basic version) worked fine.
