Exceedingly pleased

The Bottom Line: Big improvement over previous Samsung offerings from years past. Style and function are awesome. I love it.
Bought this as a compliment to my new Samsung LED LCD TV. This accomplished a couple things for me. It's integrated with the TV, so when I turn on/off the TV, the HT turns on-off. The controls on the unit are touch sensitive (think microwave oven controls) and not obtrusive looking. The unit is larger than the Bose lifestyle unit, but still very sleek looking.
The Blu-ray couldn't be easier, much less problems overall than my old Blu-ray. I like the fact it doesn't have a CD tray, but rather sucks in the disk like a car stereo. The picture is very good.
I have Netflix and have not used the on-line video on demand feature until I bought this unit. Hook up/set up with Netflix was easy. The picture was very good. I purchased the wireless dongle which functions nicely.
The speakers have very good sound. It projects around the room without being noticeably from a source. The styling is awesome. My only complaint is the speaker wire can't be channeled through the stands. The style is so high on these that this seems like a miss.
The base speaker is pretty basic in sound. Nothing special.
The on screen menus on fine. They follow the same formatting as my Samsung TV. I had some initial problems with NBC news. The audio for voice was missing... lead in music was fine. I jumped on Samsung's website and quickly found the reason/fix.
The remote is fine. Layout is good. I HATE the thought of yet another remote, so I used my Dish platinum remote. I know it's not uncommon with Dish, but there isn't any support for Samsung HT units. So, I'm probably going to look for a universal for all.
Overall, I love this unit. I bought on Amazon for about $650 with free shipping.
