Good Noise Reduction and Sound, Weak on Comfort

The Bottom Line: Good buy at $70 (refurb); too expensive at ~$150 retail. Great noise reduction, very good comfort, decent sound.
Review: This is my 4th pair of noise canceling headphones, and I don't plan to replace them anytime soon.

First pair was from Aiwa (HP-CN5) and although noise reduction and sound were good, comfort and quality were not as good. Less of a problem...

Subtle At First, But They Really Make a Difference.

The Bottom Line: I heartily recommend these for anyone who travels by air, especially if, like me, you are somewhat claustrophobic. Knock down the noise, turn up the tunes, and tune out.
Review: I would describe aircraft noise as a combination hiss, hum and roar. The PXC 250 headphones do not remove it all, but they knock out the roar, leaving only the far less fatiguing hiss and hum. And once you turn on some music, the hiss and hum...

Great for airplanes, best price performance tradeoff

The Bottom Line: If you spend a lot of time on a plane (and I do), get these and an iPod. You will enjoy flying much more.
Review: I bought some Koss over the ear noise cancelling headphones and tried them on a cross country trip. Too heavy and too uncomfortable - I took them off before the trip was over and then returned them.

Next I bought the Sony open air noise...
