Sony Alpha DSLR-A300K Digital Camera with 18-70mm lens

I would give the Sony Alpha DSLR-A300 camera 5 stars and I did in some other review. But in this review I want to concentrate on the 18-70mm kit lens included in DSLR - A300K set.
If you want to buy a DSLR just to pretend that you are into photography and that you know anything about it, then this kit is great for you. Every layman will think that you are a good photographer because you have this big, black and heavy device. Unfortunately you will not be able to prove your skills with your images. Why? This lens is very bad. It is slow, noisy, can not focus properly and even after it does the images are still not sharp enough. Bokeh is not appealing at all. These are just basics you need to know but there is much more bad thins to write.
My advice is. Buy the body but avoid this lens. Add some more moeny and buy proper G series lens or even Carl Zeiss lens. End of the they it is all about the lens, not the body you will use.
