Sony for You!

I was looking for a family camera, which is small and takes great pictures
I also needed one with double digit megapixels to impress hubby.
So having searched high and low, I finally settled on this baby--
Why?
1. Because she looked stylish
2. Would easily fit in my small handbag
3.10.1 Megapixels (mustn t send techno lover hubby back to the shops any time soon for another)
4. A whopping 5x optical zoom lens and 10x digital zoom
5. A few good reviews.
9 months and a few 1000 pictures later, this is what I think-
1. Certainly lived up to my expectations and gave a bit more.
2.Great pictures and Video.
3. Pictures in landscape mode are FABULOUS!
4. When using in Twilight mode the pictures are more often than not blurred round the edges!
5.Very occasionally whitish circles appear on the picture taken maybe due to some problem in the exposure or something--they look similar to fungal patches, for want of a better description.
6. Post shot, the picture remains for so little a time on the screen--maybe 2 secs--that I ve to go to review mode to show the taken picture to others. This is especially troublesome as my 3 yr. old son just loves to see the picture after it s taken!
7. One thing I love about this camera is that I can plug it into the TV for the whole family to see a slideshow- our beautiful pictures with the accompaniment of music! Absolutely wonderful feature.
Word of caution: Using 10mp mode always will eat up memory. 5mp is good enough for great pictures. So while using, remember that you can change the MP!
Conclusion--A very good camera for the specifications and also at a reasonable price.
The minor irritations are minor.
