Now to the negatives...

The Bottom Line: For it's price point, you're better off getting the D-E999 or the new D-EJ1000

The Bottom Line: Regardless of ratings, if you use the CD player at higher volume and your ears can take it, then buy it. Otherwise get something else or wait.

Looks as great as it sounds

Outstanding!

The Bottom Line: Overall, this is an awesome system. Most of my gripes are small and hopefully won't stop you from checking out this awesome system.
Review: This is truly a beautiful portable CD player. It's has a metal housing that I've always found appealing. I just don't care for the feel or look of plastic systems. It also has has some of the best sound quality found on a CD Walkman.
