Epinions Exceptional HDD HIDEF camcorder

by  leedye,  Oct 28, 2007
Pros: Awesome Blu-Ray video Excellent zero light Fast focus Large hard drive Decent LCD screen
Cons: Poor after market software support Drains batteries quick Very pricey Mini HDMI port
The Bottom Line: Well worth the price in my book and the excellent videos of my son are well worth the admission price. Solid 1440x1080 video. Lee Dye Simi Valley, CA
Review: I first purchased the 30gb version of this camera (HDR-SR1) when it was released last year. As my son was born I wanted the absolute best video we could obtain as we only have one chance to film these wonderful early years. The camcorder itself is ...

Pros: True 1080HD video, easy to use, great sound capture
Cons: blu-ray discs pricey
The Bottom Line: buy it--your memories will be in pristine HD video, just make sure to budget for extra battery, lenses and blu-ray discs for archiving
Review: It puts 1080i play from the camera and 1080p once you take time to burn the HD content to the mini blu-ray disc ($30 piece stores on hour 1080p high def video.) Very easy to use, not disimilar to previous camcorders. Must be sure you have adequate ...
