The Playstation Portable Slim is an excellent handheld device. I say handheld device because it is so much more than a gaming system. In my opinion, the games on the psp are its weakest feature. The internet ability is the best part.

The games are really a hit or a miss. Some games work really well and others don't. The graphics are really a hit or a miss also, some games have good graphics and some have terrible graphics. The controls are mostly a miss but there are some games that utilise the controls well. This is due to the fact that the psp only has one analog stick. The psp can also play/store mp3s, mp4 videos, and jpeg pictures. You can do this by either hooking it up to your computer with a mini usb cable or by downloading them directly from its internet browser. It's hard to find an abundance of mp4 videos on the internet but there are some applications to convert other video files. The download function works well though and the internet functionality is the best part of the psp in my opinion. The browsing works well and it is fast if you have a good wireless connection.

The graphics can be good in the games and the psp displays pictures and video really well. Pictures look especially good on its wide screen.

The sound is pretty good when using the speakers and good when using headphones.

Overall, I would say to consider this multimedia device for all of their mobile needs.
