Sony playstation has been around for quit a number of years. First their was the regular play station, then the playstation 2, and the psp. Now there is the Playstation 3! This is a amazing system. The PS3 is in competition with the new Xbox 360, but I have to say the PS3 blows the Xbox away. With a Cell processor, this system is the best. The PS3 is also Blu-ray and DVD movie player, this makes this system even better! The PS3 comes in three versions, a 20GB, 40GB and a 60GB. The 20GB runs about 500.00 in Canada, and the 60GB goes for about 599.00 in Canada. I am not to sure about the price for the 40 GB system, I was told it does not play the PS2 games, so I never even looked into that one. This system is very cool looking, and the 60GB PS3 comes with a sliver trim, looking even better. All games for the PS3 come in high-definition, and plays high-definition Blue-ray movies. This system will also play old playstation games as well. This also like the new Xbox 360, has online play.
What is Blue Ray
Blue Ray holds more than five times the storage capacity of regular DVDs and can hold up to 25GB on a single-layer disc and 50GB on a dual-layer disc. Holds 500GB on a single disc by using 20 layers! This is high-definition, makes your pictures look great. Works only with a high-definition TV. Blue Ray disks also have a hard layer on them, not like regular CD's
What I like
Online play! Huge Hard drive! Plays blue-Ray DVD's! Cell-base processing!
256MB Ram in total! 4 front USB and 2 rear! Memory stick! Plays CD-R and CD-RW! plays MP3s, WAVs, WMAs, and MP4! Processor is amazing! You can store your photos on this system, and have a slide show! Runs 40 times faster than the playstation 2. Wireless controller! You can get a USB camera for this system!
What I do not like
When you touch it, your finger prints stay on it, does not make it look so nice with fingerprints all over it, especially with kids in the house. The games are a lot of money, about 60.00 and up. I live in Canada, and things cost more here usually than in the USA. Not that many games out for this system.
