Pretty good - some features implemented poorly

I bought one of these with great hopes. It's solidly built and looks good but the implementation software isn't great and it's low on features. I'd buy it again but only because other DVDRs don't have some of the features I needed on this model (notably analogue inputs).

I expect things to work properly so this is a mostly negative review, however it does its job.

It won't rewrite some DVD RWs and doesn't write in a standard format anyway so it can be hard getting DVDs to work on other machines.
Great picture quality, including very good upscaling
Analogue and digital tuner
Analogue inputs (very important for me)
-Poor interface
-Really horrible EPG
-Nonstandard DVD formatting
-Doesn't handle DVD RWs well
-No "random" function for music files
-Doesn't recognise WMA or WMV
-Can't watch movies from USB
-Can't download movie files from USB/DVD and store on HDD
-Poor manual
