Sony's A700 is the best semi-pro / pro SLR for the price.

Quality product for the serious amateur photographer

The Bottom Line: By far the best camera I have ever used. It's an absolute pleasure to hold and shoot.

The Bottom Line: I highly recommend. This camera is great for a beginner that is just learning, a hobbyist or a professional.
