SONY KDL 46V4000 LCD

The Bottom Line: Can't recommend it enough,especially for games and hi def video.Will get same size TV cheaper with different brand but not nearly as good.
Recently bought one of these as my lg plasma died.I was initally hesitant to buy an LCD TV as i had heard the stories about the picture being inferior to plasma's .But to be honest,five minutes using this set and i could see the SONY KDL46V4000 was far superior
to the 3 year old LG plasma i was replacing ,technology has come a long way.Lots of inputs ,including 3 hdmi slots,sharp picture image .Games and bluray movies from HD sources are spot on,razor sharp and the sound quality is very good for a TV,most flat panel TV'S i've come across recently seem to have poor sound,probably on the basis that most people will hook it up to an external source.There's also an optical output ,which for me was a bonus hassle free way to connect it to my sound system.
Have got xbox 360 ,ps3 cable box all hooked up and they all look great ,even more so through the HD inputs.
You can even sync certain devices to work in better harmony with it.Picture and picture seems to only have one source that it will switch to ,witch is T.V. ,which i don't use or maybe i'm doing something wrong ,anyhow ,i have come across better PIP and PAP systems which are easier to use and let you have better options of which image to switch with.
