The Best Pocket Camera Yet

Date of Review:  Apr 1, 2004
The Bottom Line: The [almost] perfect snapshot camera. Fits easily in a pocket and is ready to go in seconds. Just watch out for the red-eye.
Review: I've wanted a digital pocket camera for quite a while but this is the first one that has had acceptable quality in a size that can realistically fit in a pocket. Sony really hit the mark with the size of this camera, tho I wish they hadn't put that...

DSC-T1 is Sony's Winning Hand... Or Is It Just a Bluff?

Date of Review:  Mar 13, 2004
The Bottom Line: If the price of the camera and memory cards were cheaper, this camera would be a contender. At its current price, it's hard to swallow.
Review: Sony has entered the high end subcompact market with an apparent bang... the DSC-T1 5.0 MegaPixel monster. With dimensions that would make most technogeeks drool and a seemingly good performance when capturing those Kodak moments. However, as good...

The best ultra compact point and shoot camera for you

Date of Review:  Mar 31, 2004
The Bottom Line: Best camera for someone who is looking for a camera that has the following features, ultra compact, high quality photos, and great style.
Review: Sony has stuffed a full size 5 MP camera into a body that is smaller than a regular PDA. The size is 3.6" (W) x 2.4" (H) x 0.8" (D)/(91mm x 60mm x 21mm). It weighs 6.3 oz. / 180g (with battery, Memory Stick Duo).

This is certainly a niche...

A pricey camera worth to buy only if you like quality video

Date of Review:  Nov 22, 2004
The Bottom Line: Only consider this camera if you want video quality as good as camcorder.
Review: After reading several magazines, quite a few reviews I decide to buy the DSC-T1. But after using it for a while I found that the DSC-T1 does not live up to my expectations. However it has its own strong points, especially if you care about video...

Small and Smooth. Excellent Camera!

Date of Review:  Aug 31, 2004
Review: I bought this camera six weeks after it came out from Dell.com and I absolutely love it. It was everything I was looking for in a camera. Small, strong craftsmanship, excellent quality, great Carl Zeis lens, quick start up time, gorgeous pictures,...

A Little Gem From Sony

Date of Review:  Apr 6, 2004
The Bottom Line: This is a perfect everyday camera and an easy to live with travel companion. Good job, Sony!
Review: Just wanted to give a quick heads up on the new digital camera from Sony CyberShot DSC-T1. Some technical reviews are already out on the Net (more about them later), so I would try to focus mostly on how does this tiny piece of gadgetry perform in...

A Camera Worthy of It's Price

Date of Review:  Jul 16, 2004
Review: This is a very nice unit that not only functions as a camera but can also take short films. Depending on how much memory you have. The 32mb card that is included takes upto 1:30 long movie with decent sound. There is no zoom with this function. The...

Good for what it is

Date of Review:  Mar 4, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you are used to prosumer digital cameras, don't expect the T1 to replace your prosumer camera. Great if you want portability and ease of use.
Review: When I bought this camera recently, the specs looked so good on paper that I thought my older DSC-S75 would be obsolete, boy was I wrong about that. That's not to say the DSC-T1 is a bad camera, it's good but it won't replace the functionality of...

DSC-T1, the camera for all you amateurs

Date of Review:  Jun 30, 2005
The Bottom Line: The large LCD and lack of lag time make this camera easy to use. It takes awesome photos at 5.0 megapixels and is small enough to fit in your pocket.
Review: At first sight, I was disappointed in the TS1 only because it has absolutely no optical viewfinder. However, the more I use this camera, the more I fall in love with it.
It s plusses the LCD itself is so big. It is awesome to take photos with...

Par-excellence for out door & natural light

Date of Review:  Nov 24, 2004
Review: The results in normal light (using auto mode) are simply awesome, better than the best!

It's indoors that one needs to determine appropriate settings to get good results.
