Epinions ANYONE can use this!

by  redm,  Dec 12, 2000
Pros: Versatility, economical, easy to use, quality results
Cons: LCD screen vulnerable to scratching.
Review: I've had my Sony Mavica FD91 for about a year now and couldn't be happier! The high cost of film and developing pictures was preventing me from taking all the photos I wanted and my kids were growing up fast. Even though the camera seemed expensive...

Epinions Best digital camera I ever had!

by  Scott_G,  Feb 22, 2000
Pros: mini movies, sound, uses disks, 14x zoom
Cons: big and bulky
Review: The sony mavica is an amazing digital camera, which I use on a daily basis. First it uses 3 ½ inch disks to store the pictures on so you can take pictures then take the disk out and pop it in your computer or a friends computer and look at the pictures...

Epinions A Digital Photographers Dream

by  TiredMomof2,  Jan 22, 2000
Pros: Zoom, LCD display, long battery life, pictures on floppy
Cons: a tad cumbersome
Review: I personally don't own this product, it's a tad too pricy for me! But I do have one at work that was purchased for me to use for our monthly newsletters. I often bring this home with me to take pictures of the kids or other things I might be doing....

Epinions Versatile and Easy to Use

by  btemple,  Dec 19, 1999
Pros: features, ease of use, use of floppy disk
Cons: none I can think of
Review: I had the opportunity to borrow a Sony FD91 from my office for a few weeks and was hooked. It was easy to use having so many automatic features, I was disappointed I'd just replaced my defunct 35mm last Christmas. I used it for photos of equipment for...

Epinions Take it from a beginner, this

by  Michael.Alvord,  Sep 27, 2000
Pros: Light weight, killer zoom, high quality pics, video capability
Cons: Not so good in low light, may be bulky for smaller hands
Review: I am a fair weekend photographer, but had no experience with digital photography. The main attraction of the FD-91 was the floppy disk storage system. To be able to take large quantities of pictures without taking out a mortgage was tempting.

Epinions Any Sony Digital works!

by  minamarie,  Jul 31, 2001
Pros: This camera is a great step up from the Sony MVC 71 series
Cons: Like anything else, it's behind technology once you walk out the store.
The Bottom Line: The MVC-91 is a great intermediate camera! Sony, given that I also own the MVC-71 and MVC-CD1000, is the best manufacturer of digitals. Everyone else is just copying their technology!
Review: The first digital camera I had experience with was the Sony MVC 71; from there I moved to the MVC-91; and now, I have added the Sony MVC-CD1000 to my digital arsenal.Even at all of their original prices, they have more than earned their salt.

Epinions Best optical zoom!

by  topdawg8504,  Dec 10, 2000
Pros: Great zoom, good colors
Cons: big, low resolution
Review: This camera has one of the best optical zooms in its class. Its Digital zoom is good as well, but it is not near as clear as when you are using optical. The camera itself is great, with a very large screen to see everything you are looking for.

Epinions After one year of use...

by  javelinaloca,  May 12, 2001
Pros: Great SLR features & unparalelled zoom
Cons: Bulky, not the best resolution
The Bottom Line: It is THE camera for anyone making the transition from film to digital & doesn't want to give up SLR quality & control.
Review: I am still in love with it. The rotating 2.5" LCD is convenient & accurate for previewing pictures or showing movies. It makes it much easier to get a picture at knee height, or with out alerting your subject.
I have been able to fit well over 30...

Pros: 14x zoom, easy to use, great photos
Cons: resolution not best if you want to make 8x10's
Review: Hi .... I used an SLR most of my life but grew to hate carting all the heavy lenses and stuff around. Decided to go digital and found this wonderful Sony Mavica FD91 with a powerful 14x lens. It was light weight compared to my SLR.

Pros: ease of use,picture quality,privacy,features

Review: Hello friends! I purchased the Sony Mavica F-91 about a year ago for $900.My goal was to find a camera that needed no plug in cables or hook-ups.The computer system I use ,is using all my ports. So, for me, the choice was obvious, get a camera that uses a...
