My search for a GPS was rather extensive. Reason being, I am of the mind that you find the best you can, so you don't spend alot of time wishing you had better.

This GPS is outstanding. The color screen is awesome, the user interface is less cryptic than most Windows applications, and it's loaded with geewizz stuff. Altimeter is great, and it's barometrically adjusted, so you will always be within a reasonable margin of your exact altitude. It takes a minute or so to lock on Sats, but once locked, it seems to hold well. I haven't used the Mapsource CD's yet, but am eager to get that rolling as well. This unit is well worth the $$. Most places now have it reasonably priced.

Pros:
Good color, has capability to do most all functions that the GPS units offer today. External antenna jack is a good addition, even if you think won't use it, you probably will find a reason for it eventually.
