Shure E2C Consumer Headphones

Considered the "go-to" headphones for those looking for a good mid-range pair of in-ear headphones, the E2Cs have a lot to offer. The sound quality is good and is aided by the incredible sound isolation these headphones bring. Even with no music playing through them, practically all exterior noise is inaudible.

Having gone through two pairs of these headphones (primarily rebuying due to their sound quality) I have had some recurring issues. As the ear buds are fairly stiff, sometimes getting and maintaining a secure fit is difficult, but this can be overcome with the foam ear buds. My second issue is that of how these headphones are constructed. Neither pair lasted more than a year, both cracking and breaking at the same point. The casing is made up of 2 pieces of plastic fixed together and in both cases the pieces came apart and broke.
