Best balance of fit and sound.

Date of Review:  Feb 23, 2006
Review: I had a pair of E2Cs but returned them when my initial choice, the Shure E3Cs, came in through the mail. I'm so sorry I returned the E2s and would like to have it back to do all over again. I tried with several different types of music to determine...

Surprising clarity, excellent fit

Date of Review:  Jun 23, 2006
The Bottom Line: An excellent set of in-ear headphones that produce a rich array of sound and are very comfortable to wear.
Review: After many years of faithful use from my set of Sony earbuds, I had gotten to the point where I was ready to try a slightly more sophisticated set of in-ear headphones (read: the rubber on the right cord was worn to the point where there was over an...

SHURE E2 VERY GOOD :)

Date of Review:  Oct 29, 2005
Review: I wasnt sure if I would like these style of deep in ear phones as I was used to wearing big can's all the time, but bloody hell man, these things blew me away.

The guy who owned the shop that sold me them kept on saying how good they were...

You want quality intimate sound for $100? You got it.

Date of Review:  Sep 29, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you require topmost sound-blocking ability and aren't looking to spend much over $100, then look no further; these will not disappoint.
Review: Open the package for these, the entry level model of the Shure canalphone line, and immediately you become aware that much has been put into providing a quality product. Starting with the 'phones themselves (backed by a hearty two-year warranty),...

Good sound, but pricey and somewhat flimsy

Date of Review:  Dec 20, 2005
The Bottom Line: If these were more comfortable and better made, I might recommend them. But as it stands, I don't think they're worth the aggravation.
Review: I bought these because they received good reviews from the industry press and because, as a performing musician, I used Shure microphones for years and loved them.

First thing I noticed when unpacking them is that they came with a little...

These are the ONES

Date of Review:  Jan 28, 2007
The Bottom Line: Buy these and FIT THEM PROPERLY and you will not be disappointed!!
Review: I wanted to replace the OEM earbuds with something 'great'. I read the reviews and decided upon the E2C for several reasons. The first being "Isolation" earbuds - these are simply ear plugs that allow a sound tube to go into your ear. They block out...

Good Sound, Slightly Pricey, Comfortable

Date of Review:  Feb 23, 2007
Review: Canalphones are the latest in hi-fi sound -- great sound quality in a small size. And that pretty much sums up the E2C by Shure in one sentence. Great sound quality in a small size. There's plenty of bass for me, the mids are completely flat, and...

WOW?they ARE all that?!

Date of Review:  Mar 18, 2006
The Bottom Line: Any music lover--serious or casual--would benefit greatly from these...amazing sound reproduction, reasonably priced (esp. on the Internet), sturdy construction. Well thought out and engineeered!
Review: I'm going to start this review by telling you that I love music…and I've always wanted to take my music with me. I was one of the first in my neighborhood to own a cassette player in the early 70s…I worked up and through the Walkmans and...

Killer sound takes some getting used to.

Date of Review:  Jan 9, 2006
The Bottom Line: Expensive, a value if music is important to you. The best earbuds I have listened to that I could afford. You'll have to fiddle with the attachments, don't give up!
Review: Got these babies for Christmas and love them. The sound with my iPod is awesome. Unless you are a professional these are all you'll ever need to enjoy quality music. Shure has been in the business forever and they make good stuff. Now it did take a...

Shure E2c, one of the best headphones ever tried

Date of Review:  Dec 5, 2004
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended if you can spend the money they're worth (and if you have average ears!)
Review: I recently bought a pair of Shure E2c headphones to use with an MP3 Player. These headphones are one of the best I've ever tried, including high-end, over-the-ear models and I definitely recommend them.

The Shure E2c goes into the ear...
