Epinions The Sims Unleashed: The Cat's Meow or Doggy Doo?

by  laryan,  Nov 10, 2002
Pros: Pets, pets, and more pets! Expanded and co-joined residential/commercial area.
Cons: A few bugs; extremely slow loading
The Bottom Line: The build mode bug is fixed. Larger neighborhoods. And Pets! What more can you want? This is the best expansion of them all.
Review: Hello, my name is Lisa and I am a Simmer.

I started years ago with Sim City. I became obsessed with creating my own perfect world. Before long, I was dabbling into Sim Tower; Sim Life; Sim Park--if it had Sim in the title, I had to try it....

Pros: Very enjoyable, great graphics, very addictive,
Cons: Can get repetative after a while
The Bottom Line: This games just proves how much more there is for your sims to do. It provides a hole new lease of life to the original.
Review: For all of you that don't know, the Sims is a roleplaying/God game. You have to build houses, decorate them, create families and then live their lives for them. You make all the decisions, you are in total control.

In total there are five...

Epinions The Sims: Unleashed: Release the Hounds!

by  B_Campbell, top reviewer in Games ,  Jan 7, 2004
Pros: Bigger neighborhood, the addition of pets, new 'Old Town Area', more!
Cons: EA could release two expansions a year until 2050, and they would sell.
The Bottom Line: I love Unleashed almost as much as I love student loans.
Review: Sims get lonely. Yes, it's sad but true, sometimes all a Sim wants is some companionship. What to do for that depressed, lonesome Sim who has no family members and nobody to call on the phone? Until now, nothing, but with Unleashed your Sims finally ...

The Bottom Line: Must have for Sims fans
Review: I have been a loyal Sims-player for years. It started out as a Christmas gift, and I became hooked automatically. Every so often, the creators of the game put out a new expansion pack. The latest of these is Unleashed. Before it was available for...

Epinions Unbeatable Unleashed

by  kymbadlee,  Dec 6, 2002
Pros: new lots, rezoning, pets
Cons: load times, frozen sims, items dropping out of queue
The Bottom Line: A must buy for anyone who has become uninteretsed in The sims or someone who is an addict
Review: Unleashed, the fifth expansion pack to the original EA Max's release The Sims, is by far the best addition to the collection yet. With the addittion of pets, extra lots, new items, and new career paths, Unleashed brings excitement back and makes The Sims...

Epinions My favourite Sims Expansion Pack

by  theworstpirate,  Apr 19, 2004
Pros: pets are cute, new gardening functions
Cons: far too addictive!
The Bottom Line: Bottom line - even if you don't like "real" animals (like me!), I guarantee that you will love Sim-pets!
Review: Sims Unleashed is an excellent addition to the many Sims expansion packs. This pack successfully introduced an entirely new aspect to the game - pets! The pets are cute, fun, and make the game even more interesting. However, just like real pets, they ...

Epinions One of the best games ever!

by  angel53087,  Mar 30, 2003
Pros: everything except the memory requirement.
Cons: You need over 64 RAM.
The Bottom Line: Buy this game. It is a lot of fun to play and is very easy to learn.
Review: I would say that all of the sims expansion packs are the best computer games I have ever played. With this one you can now own your own pets. You can buy things for them, and you even get rated on how well your relationship with them is. If you choose to...

Epinions Quite addictive bit of programming

by  trwprid,  Feb 3, 2003
Pros: Great interface, new characters and skins
Cons: Long installation time
The Bottom Line: Buy it, make yourself a cup of coffee, and prepare to spend ALL day bugged out in front of your computer.
Review: The Sims is great, as well as most of the expansion packs I've tried, and I bought this one not thinking I would like ti much. Au contraire, the pets introduced to Sim City (and the Sim-burbs) are hysterical! They drink out of the toilet, bark at the...
