Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six (Mac)

This game really blew me away. It is a true step forward in first person shooting games. It has everything! You can control your team, choose from realistic weapons, choose your plan of attack, and carry out orders. I have played this for hours and hours on end, and I am still not sick of it. It really helps to have a faster computer, because multi-player is great after beating all the levels. I purchased this game, to be honest, because of the artwork on the cover, and the success of Tom Clancy's action novels. I would recommend that if this is bought,the person waits a while and eventually buys urban operations, and then covert ops. This game is truly a great game which will have you glued to your screen thinking out your next move. Rainbow Six gets my highest rating!
