TomTom GO 520 Car GPS Receiver

I initially was using sat nav of my phone but it was getting annoying to use so I bought the TomTom Go 520 from maplins. It’s got a very good large clear screen with a reputable resolution and its very easy to use and set up. There are several beneficial features that I love in this unit but my favourite has to be the Bluetooth connection. It can connect to your mobile and you can synchronise numbers from your phone book to the TomTom. This is very handy when you phone battery is low etc. When making a call the sound quality from the speakers is great, it’s as good as using a hands free kit from a mobile phone.

It’s very straightforward to pin in your locations, save locations and more or less set it up.

So far I have had no problems with GPS signal; the product has been very reliable.

Overall this is a great navigating piece of equipment.
