Toshiba TDP-S8U DLP Projector

We bought this Toshiba projector new on eBay for $499 though the retail price is $749. (They typically sell for between $499 and $589 on eBay.) For that price, we were thinking there would be a couple of cons to go along with it. However, we have been pleasantly surprised. First of all, the projector is whisper-quiet, a feature you don't think of until you bring it home and set it up in your acoustically challenged room. Secondly, it is light-weight (and easily transportable in the included carrying case) and easy to set up for the technically challenged, making this a great projector for business travel. But the real proof is in the large, clear, sharp picture. We set it up in the poorly lit multi-purpose room at my son's school for a Cub Scout Pack meeting. Not only was the 20 foot picture bright with high contrast, but the color range was impressive. The DLP display with 2000 ANSI lumens makes this a phenomenal projector for the money. Even the remote comes fully loaded with included batteries. I would definitely buy this projector again if I had to do it all over again.
