Pros:
This is a worthy Play station wrestling game given no credit
Cons:
The controls lag behind a little just a little
The Bottom Line:
A great game which shoots itself in the foot with some very poor sound effects. However, it rebounds with good controls and a good story line mode.

Author's Review
Hello, my name is Joseph and I am a wrestling fan. My problem is that I don't like really watching wrestling. What, I enjoy is the game and building the story lines as you go along. That's why this game suited me just fine with how it was presented. Even though the voice acting does get tiring after a while (only two voices) it's still good to hear from time to time. Hey, some of them are even called nice people wow I love it! Performing all the moves you can is just plain cool. With the set up and execution I just can not wait to buy Shut your mouth. Now, I used to wrestle in high school and I don't about anyone else but hey this game is cool and even if we didn't use the moves in school the moves here are simply awesome.
Story 3.5/5
The story lines are not as well thought up as they could have been. It does get boring taking the same character through the same story each and every time but the unlock able characters are really nice. Well for starters my first time playing the story line through I got Rhino. That was just the kick I needed to really start liking the game. Different choices bring different results and the results effect the story which is very nice.
Controls 4/5
The controls are almost spot on. With the given that every button push influences the moves you do it does get tiring. However, those one push buttons are a nice thing to have. Some people may call the controls bad but hey I haven't found a better engine since I started playing this. Well, the better engine I found was in a rather simple one called W C W n W o revenge. Which greatly made me like wrestling more and more before I started my high school wrestling career.
Sounds 3/5
Nice songs and all of that but some of it is weak and could have been a little mixed around. But, other wise it's pretty cool even with the announcers from the place down below. A great song system and good announcing keep this game from pinning itself. Just be glad the voices are not five minutes later after your perform your finishing move that would pretty much pin this game.
Over All
Even if you only like wrestling a little bit this is one great game. The controls are almost spot on and the sounds are great sometimes. If you like this game I'd suggest renting it first to get used to it. And, if you really like it the no brain answer here is buy it.
