More WoW, more fun

In this expansion set for World of Warcraft, Blizzard has outdone themselves. The first thing they have done is make an entirely new set of areas. The second? A new race for each side.

On the Horde side, you can be a Blood Elf, which looks like a cross between a Night Elf and a Human. On the Alliance side, you can be a Dranei, which looks quite similar to a Satyr, which is a half goat, half human.

Both races are excellent, and give you different abilities. But where Blizzard outdid themselves is a whole new area, called Outlands. One starts in Shattrath, and goes out into this brave new world to get all new items, recipes, and more money.

Of course, one needs not be at 60 to enjoy having this expansion. Those under 60 can usually pay a few gold to a Mage or Warlock to summon or portal them to Shattrath, and hearth in one of the Inns there.

Hearthing is like a teleport to a home base, which are Inns in the game. What makes Shattrath so wonderful to be at any level is the fact there are portals to all major Alliance and Horde cities.

There are new recipes and patterns to make even more wonderful things in crafting, cooking, and general fun.

The only downside to this expansion is you have to have the original World of Warcraft installed to make any use of this. Also, the same issues as with standard World of Warcraft applies, as far as dealing with children playing, and twinking in the battlegrounds.

All in all, if you already play WoW, this is a must have addition.
