I brought this camera just over a year ago now, i havent had a single problem with it, i have owned several compact cameras, but the canon ixus range are by far the best i have owned, I think the small elegant shape really caught my eye when i was looking, i found that few modern cameras look anything like a camera should. In my opinion this camera is definatly one of the best looking compact cameras on the market today.
When i started using the camera i was surprised to see how good the pictures were coming out, all the features work well and there is an auto mode so there is no need for fidling around with settings when you want an ordinary photo in a rush, the video works as you would think it has sound and the quality is better than expected, but the strongest feature i have found is the battery life i very rarly ever need to charge the battery, mine came with a spare battery and i found i have never needed it even for a holiday one battery has lasted me ten days.
I would highly recommend this camera to anyone who is after a compact digital.
