Pros: Fantastic thing, worth ever penny
Cons: could do with more storage
Review: Since I bought this tiny little home helper i haven't needed to sweep any of my wooden floors. It works really well and it it completely idiot proof, easy as pie to use, and it even charges its self. I have 2 cats and it copes well with their hair...

Pros: Chases most furballs & dust bunnies while you aren't actually doing the vacuuming.
Cons: Bangs things, no deep cleaning despite spot cleaning feature, misses dust bunnies, noisy.
The Bottom Line: I had high hopes that it would do a better job but if you just don't care that much, it's easier than vacuuming yourself.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Just about any vacuum (an inexpensive shop vac) will do a better job, but as traditional vacuums do, it requires you vacuum with it.
The iRobot cleans without you, for the most part. However, this most recent of versions bangs into all the... |

Pros: Goes from room to room.
Cons: Does not clean corners or walls once side brushes break off.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I have been a long time customer of iRobot. I have had multiple early generation Roombas (and still have four fourth generation Roombas in my house). I bought two 560's in September and the side brushes became "amputees" within the first few weeks,...

Pros: Easy to use, quiet.
Cons: Doesn't deep clean.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The worse thing you can do when you have a bad back is to vacuum. I solved my problem by buying the Roomba. I'm very satisfied. No, it doesn't replace your regular vacuum cleaner but it is excellent for light vacuuming (I get my husband to use the...

Pros: quiet, great suction, modular parts
Cons: cost, 1 year warranty
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I have owned 2 roomba schedulers, each lasted slightly over 11/2 years. the brushes stopped working and they started making a very loud grinding noise. We used them every day ( and cleaned them everyday) on our hardwood floors, we do not have any...

Pros: Battery life, vacuum power
Cons: Noisy
The Bottom Line: A step above the old models and definitely a time saver, and despite the noise, it's hard to argue with a clean house.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: About two years ago I decided to do a little test and I bought the Roomba Discovery. I intended to use it to maintain some semblance of cleanliness in my kitchen and living/dining room areas. After much anticipation regarding the no-doubt-soon-to-be...

Pros: Cleans pet hair. Best purchased by a consumer with a sense of mechanics
Cons: Poor product engineering, and support. Failure to correct know problems. Lacks quality.
The Bottom Line: If you like mechanical toys this is for you, but be prepared to do battle with IROBOT corp or use it as frisbee in the not to near future.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Within in 2 months of purchasing the brush head failed. Support replaced it, but with a newly designed head to prevent pet hair buildup behind the ends.. Amazing. Before it failed , also purchased a 540 and that unit had the better brush assembly...

Pros: Removes LOTS of dirt, more than predecessors. Modular, so user can replace parts.
Cons: Brush hubs get clogged with big gobs of lint - needs frequent attention.
The Bottom Line: I wish it worked better, but I'd miss it if it was gone. I need to use a regular vacuum sometimes, but it's fantastic for under beds and sofas
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I had the earlier Discovery Roomba model for several years and learned to live with its limitations.
A few months ago, we upgraded to the 560 model. Somethings are much better - it picks up more dirt, for one thing. It still leaves fluff... |

Pros: Does the work for you. Affordable. Quiet. IT'S A ROBOT!!!
Cons: Needs initial 16 hour charge. Batteries not included. BumperStrip needs to be applied to front.
The Bottom Line: Simple. Easy to use. Does the work for you!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I'm a single guy, soon to be married, that has a cleaning lady come every 2 to 3 months to do the real dirty work. So rather then call her for her quarterly visit, I took the money I would normally give her and invested it in this. Anyways, on with...

Pros: Sleek design, automated cleaning, generally good cleaning job, easy to clean
Cons: not very thorough, may "forget" where home (charger) is when cleaning more than one room
The Bottom Line: Good looks and convenience excuse the marginal cleaning performance. However, it's expensive and a "real" vacuum may still be needed.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Well, the original Discovery was fascinating but frankly too expensive and we didn't have a good application for it. Further, reviews were just okay. Now that we're in our new house, we were still on the initial high and finally the Roomba 560 moved...
