My Rechargeable Brain

Date of Review:  Nov 26, 2005
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended as a first PDA or a replacement for an older/outdated unit. Priceless convenience and usability.
Review: I've never owned a PDA before, but wanted one for a long time. It seems the older I get the more I'm expected to remember and keep track of, yet the shorter my memory gets. Ugh. What is one to do? Why talk the hubby into buying a PDA, of course...

Important Things to Know Before Buying a Tungsten E2!

Date of Review:  Apr 13, 2006
The Bottom Line: Get his PDA to get organized and enjoy a few added extras, but read my review and be aware of the limitations.
Review: I purchased a Tungsten E2 because I just started back to grad school and I suddenly need somewhere to put a dozen manuals, and get a whole lot more organized. While I would say I was satisfied with the Tungsten, there are some niggles about the...

Tungsten E2 - Worth more than they money it costs...

Date of Review:  Nov 22, 2005
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this as it's an outstanding handheld for the money and can be used almost anyone with ease.
Review: The Tungsten E2 is worth more than it's price when you consider the functionality of what this handheld can do for you.

I've owned many Palms in the past (Palm III, VII, Vx, Palm m100, m130, M515, T2, and the E2. Each Palm served its...

I still want a T/X

Date of Review:  Dec 31, 2005
The Bottom Line: It could be better.
Review: In early September my 2 year old Palm Zire 71 fried itself. One day it was charging, got really hot, and simply stopped working. I knew it was coming. For a couple weeks the battery didn't hold a charge and always felt warm, so when the PDA finally...

Ah ha! Take that Procrastination! Tungsten Style

Date of Review:  Jul 10, 2006
The Bottom Line: Excellent for beginning PDA users and features the all the programs needed to be organized. Simple and Minimalistic sums up the overall impression of the Tungsten E2
Review: I have always been amazed by PDAs and numerous usages of them. I watched in awe as a friend whipped out his PDA and entered in schedules for important exam dates and other notes to remind him later on, while I was scribbling down illegible scratch...

Don't waste your money

Date of Review:  Jan 30, 2007
Review: I used a Palm Tungsten E2 for work. It was great ....until it developed dead spots on the touch screen merely FOUR months after I got it. The palm works OK for a few minutes, than the dead spots start showing up.

Palm Tungsten E2

Date of Review:  May 2, 2006
Review: Very handy device. Got it as a gift in early January 2006 to replace an old model. Had a recent problem that I thought was a bad on-off switch. Sent a trouble report to the manufacturer describing the problem and got a phone number to call. The...

Severe conception default (recalibration issue), otherwise a good device

Date of Review:  Apr 8, 2007
The Bottom Line: Because of the calibration issue, I can not recommend this item unless new ones had it fixed (did Palm work on it ?)
Review: This review is mainly intended to discuss about the recalibration issue with the Tungsten E2. The screen went off calibration and impossible to recalibrate with the pen, there fore it was impossible to use the screen in any way. If you are not a...

E2 / Excellent Device

Date of Review:  Feb 11, 2006
Review: This is the first PDA I've ever owned. I never bothered to find out what one was until I noticed the PDA slot in my attache for work. So I looked them up and realized I could definitely use one of these to keep me organized away from the office or...

Tungsten E2: Problems, problems, problems

Date of Review:  Feb 17, 2006
The Bottom Line: Skip it and go with an upgraded version or a handheld computer. Get the extended warranty if you decide to go with the E2. It's worth the peace of mind.
Review: Fine, I'm open to the possibility that I received two lemons in a row. My first E2 was a replacement for my 5 year old work horse Palm Vx. Love that old pilot and it served me well. I decided to replace it with the Tungsten E2 since it was blue...
