Pros: Extraordinary versatility, great battery life and quick recharge, many available accessories.
Cons: Screen sometimes too sensitive.
The Bottom Line: Throw out your MP3 player, photo album, calendar, notepad, address book, library card, watch, alarm clock, and maybe laptop ! This does it all!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I don't know how I lived without this PDA! It does so much for me now. I first bought it to eliminate clutter in my purse - a calendar, notepad, calculator and address book. Viola - all those items and more on my E2. Then, who knew? All my photos -...

Pros: OK, when it works
Cons: Lousy warranty and repair policies
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: My one-year old Tungsten e2 was not charging anymore on my palm cradle. I found that one of the contacts from the cradle was pushed into the base. It did the same thing to the cradle cable when I plugged it directly into the PDA. I called Palm and...

Pros: Light, user friendly
Cons: Um... stops turning on whenever it feels like it
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I have run through 2 of these in the past 4 months. Both of them have just "died" on me, refusing to turn on ever again. No one can repair them. I am an RN and used my E2s sparingly (I'd estimate MAYBE 30 minutes/week) for drug books and...

Pros: Good display and ease of use.
Cons: Poor cover, keeps slipping down.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone who is on the road or away from their personal computer a lot.

Review: I love this PDA. It is my second brain and keeps me as organized as I can be. The color is great and it is easy to use. I also purchased a 1GB memory card which allows me to download music, which is great while I'm working. It would be nice if it...

Pros: Small and light, somewhat powerful features.
Cons: My speaker in the unit failed. Doesn't come with wireless internet.
The Bottom Line: Think twice about purchasing this particular model since mine seemed like quality control was asleep at the wheel. The computer still works but speaker doesn't work anymore.

Review: I have owned many many pocket devices over the years, some were better than others, this one falls somewhere in between. The NEC Mobilepro, with it's large keyboard that was lovely to type on, entering information was a breeze. It's not all that...

Pros: great resolution and colors offered, good software, slimmer battery charger, bluetooth capability
Cons: flimsy cover, more graffitti variations offered for letter strokes would be nice
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I went to plug the charger in, it started beeping with the battery lightening bolt blinking on and off like there was a loose connection. It was not taking a charge and finally the unit didn't turn on. Luckily, I was within the 90 days, so I spoke...

Review: OVERVIEW
For some reason Palm decided to name this little PDA "Tungsten" - but their isn't an ounce of Tungsten in it. Well, its an OK name, but I didn't buy it for the name, I bought it due to an unfortunate accident. ... |

Review: This is the second Palm product I've owned, first a Visor and now a Tungsten E. Both crapped out on me after about a year of use. The batteries started lasting only a few minutes before needing to be charged again, and the part of the body where you...

Pros: Color; Expandability; Ease of use; size
Cons: Lost data which is irretrievable! Non-existent customer support; wouldn't recognize expansion card

Review: I had two Handspring Visors which I destroyed by dropping them. Sigh. I had to replace them with something and since the Handspring used the Palm OS and worked really well I didn't think I wanted to change operating systems.

Review: I've never been more disappointed. I bought a new Palm Tungsten E2 for $199 plus tax. Within 2 months, it quit and would not turn on. Only a hard reset would fix it.
I turned it over to the store where I bought it and they replaced it with... |
