inMotion iM600: As clever as it's aging!

Pros: compact design, style, integrated battery, good treble reproduction, portability, subwoofer output, radio (no HD)

Cons: not compatible with iPhone, iTouch 2ndG, whimpy bass if stand alone

The Bottom Line: Overall excellent design and sound are countered by significant compatibility issues.

Altec IM600- Sleek look, decent sound, some compatibility issues

Pros: Clear and well balanced sound, takes up little space, looks sleek, optional rechargeable battery

Cons: Not completely compatible with iPod Touch

The Bottom Line: Attractive in looks, sound, and price. This is a must have if you can't afford a Bose.
