Teach your PS3 to play w/ Harmony!

Pros: easy configuration, small, style, reliable connection, responsive, full PS3 command set

Cons: somewhat expensive, line of sight only, power on is still 2-step

The Bottom Line: Finally, the PS3 obeys Logitech's Harmony and does so without any resistance ... what a relief!
