Pros: very compact for what it does

Cons: quite noisy for a printer

Pros: Clean printing,handles more pages, individual tanks for each color

Cons: Slow cue up opens extra windows while printing.

The Bottom Line: For the mid-range price the Canon S500 is an economical and dependable machine. Ink use is economical, few paper jams, and its easy to get up and running.
