Pros: Drag and drop functionality, Intellisense, debugging, auto-completion of statements, wizards, syntax checking
Cons: No great support for CSS, no complete support for JavaScript intellisense and debugging
The Bottom Line: Wonderful program. With all of its features, including Intellisense, auto-completion of statements, debugging, drag and drop design and syntax checking, it is essential for any ASP.NET developer.

Pros: Nice user interface, lots of new great stuff like WPF, easy conversion from VS2005
Cons: Price for Professionals is a little high
The Bottom Line: VS2008 has a lot of new stuff and project conversions are easy. Professional programmers should buy it or upgrade from VS2005 unless they have a special reason not to.
