Traditional but Quirky Kettle

Pros: Traditional shape, cute whistle, fast boil.
Cons: Horrid tasting water at first, needs polishing.
Review: I bought this kettle because I was looking for something traditional to complement my kitchen.  I liked the shiny finish and the shape and the fact that it whistles when it boils.  Lots of reviews I read said that it made the water taste horrible...
