Never got anywhere with it

Cons: Won't even install.
The Bottom Line: Unless you have new information that indicates that you can get around the installation problems I had and the operating problems others have had, buy something else.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: The installation software that has to be run on the PC before connecting the router claimed my cable modem wasn't connected to the PC. This wasn't true, as I was able to reach the internet just fine at the time.

Netgear or Notgear?

Pros: Pretty blue flashing lights surround the top edges.
Cons: Didn't deliver 300Mbps wireless and 1000Mbps through wired network resulted in no noticeable extra speed.
The Bottom Line: WNR3500 does not perform as well as the less expensive WNR2000

Review: I've been building my own desktop computers and buying ethernet and wireless routers back to the days when our only choice was "A" speeds. Then came "B", "G" and most recently "N". In between we had "pre" this "plus" that and "super" to confuse us...
