Pros: The same "state of the art" technology as the more expensive boys.
Cons: You'll still need a DVD player to watch movies.
The Bottom Line: Why buy a competitor's machine with one measly game when you can buy a GameCube with THREE great games for the same price?

Pros: Very Small, Portable, Great controller.
Cons: A few too many kid games.
The Bottom Line: Looks to be the best console ever made right now. It's going to overpower the XBOX, and take PS2 out fairly quickly, with it's spectacular games and graphics.

First off, let me start by saying that the GameCube comes in other colours. NOT JUST PURPLE. I've seen black, silver, purple, and a few others. Same with the controllers. And to dis-spell one more myth, the main version won't play DVDs, but...
