As part of the stylish compact range, the Panasonic Lumix DMC- FX60 certainly doesn't let itself down on looks. It's a thin, rectangular design with curved sides, a slim flash on the front which has a range of 60cm-6.0m in wide angle and 1m-2.8m at telephoto. That's a little on the low side but hopefully a flash won't be necessary as the lens has a new image stabilising system so you can use slower speeds to get the shots. Less

Pros: Super telephoto, very high ISO range, excellent color balance, fast shutter speed.
Cons: Camera lacks external flash connection, internal flash is adequate but tends to overexpose subjects.
The Bottom Line: This is an excellent all-around camera with enough flexibility for the pro, but easy enough for the average person to use.

Pros: Powerful zoom. Intuitive menu.Good macro.Long battery life.
Cons: Occasionally slow to focus. The manual flash. LCD screen doesn't tilt.
The Bottom Line: I'm a constant second guesser and worrier. After buying this camera, I have no regrets. It's not the perfect camera, but no camera is.
