Review: I bought this mp3 player on a whim and frankly wish that I hadn't. I was used to mp3 players that actually play mp3's - this one makes you use the Sony software in order to transfer music to your mp3 player. Maybe Sony will get it down next time and...

Rendered Useless by Software

Pros: Excellent sound quality
Cons: Software means machine useless.

Review: I have the 1Gb Sony machine and it's excellent although the Sonicstage software is a real "belt and braces" affair. Still it works just about.
However, with the 2Gb machine, the software will not allow me to place the tracks from different CDs...
