PERRIS MONTECARLO Mandarino di Sicilia EDP 50 ml After having toured the entire world, the new Perris Monte Carlo project finds the excellence of the raw materials that are the protagonists of the new fragrances in Italy. The Italian excellence deriving from the world of citrus fruits, fruit of tradition, the savoir faire and the productive innovation of Capua, a producer of citrus essential oils since 1880 have inspired Gian Luca Perris creative director of the Maison Perris Monte Carlo. Capua has been working with raw materials from the perfumery tradition since 1880 and today combines tradition with new extraction methods that allow the elimination of furocoumarins (photosensitive molecules that have compromised the use of these essential oils) and phthalates (derived from harvesting tools) with cold fraction (up to -20C) through molecular evaporators that guarantee an extraction of total integrity, representative of all the facets of the essential oil without losing the most delicate parts often damaged by heat. The triad of the new collection, dedicated to citrus fruits, expresses the power of the sun and the earth that enhances the characteristics of the fruits it is composed of: bergamot, mandarin and cedar. The selection of different qualities of essential oil that, depending on the quality of the fruit, the time of harvest and extraction, respond to original and different olfactory notes, triggered Gian Luca Perris' interest in creating a fragrance that represents this fruit in its entirety. Recreating its entire life cycle from the flower, with notes of Petigrain and Neroli, through the unripe fruit harmonized with notes of Geranium and finally the ripe fruit harmonized with notes of Amber. This was possible thanks to the innovation and technology of new extraction methods that allow us to obtain not only safe raw materials free of components that could be harmful to health (phthalates, furocoumarins) but also to extract essential oils that recreate the scent of the fruit in all its parts. In Mandarino di Sicilia there are 3 different fractions of essential oil: the first from the green mandarin, very delicate and volatile, a heavier one, and the complete essential oil of the yellow mandarin. Using these 3 types of fractions has allowed us to olfactively recreate the scent of the fruit in every part: the flower, the green leaf, the peel with almost bitter notes and the sweet pulp. The bouquet is completed by Jasmine and Geranium in the heart and Amber in the base. The result is a powerful fragrance that transports us to the middle of a mandarin field on a sunny day dove the rays warm the fruits and release all their perfume.
