The shells are equipped with a system of air cushions that can be inflated using a special pump, to ensure the perfect fit of the guardian at any stage of swelling of the ankle. AirLoc bivalve ankle brace: Effective to wear with footwear Anatomical design Comfortable to wear and adaptable to therapy thanks to the adjustable air cushions Protection for the healing ankle joint Immediately after an injury or in the early period following surgery, the ankle is in particular need of support. The AirLoc bivalve rigid brace stabilizes the ankle joint with two anatomically shaped plastic shells. These shells are connected to each other by an elastic band under the heel and are attached to the lower leg with Velcro straps. This allows the orthosis to adapt to the width of the heel and the degree of swelling. The inside has air cushions that ensure a perfect fit and high comfort. The cushions can be inflated as needed using the pump provided in the product package. Get back in shape faster When wearing AirLoc in combination with a closed shoe, the ankle joint is protected from new twisting by the action of the plastic splints. The air cushions exert a slight pressure on the tissue around the ankle joint. They also pleasantly wrap the injured ankle joint, alleviating pain and ensuring high comfort. Thanks to its perfect positioning, AirLoc ensures a large contact surface with a positive influence on sensory motor skills: this allows for better control of the muscles, which allows the foot to stabilize using its own strength. AirLoc provides the necessary security to move correctly and without fear despite the injury. This will allow you to start physiotherapy promptly and return to your daily activities. For optimal healing, the fundamental rule always applies: movement is health. Directions Acute injuries of the capsular ligaments of the ankle joint Chronic ligament instabilities  Post-operative rehabilitation Prophylaxis of relapses Product care instructions Airloc can be hand washed with a mild detergent.
