Prevents soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power. DPF / FAP stays cleaner for longer, as there is less soot to trap. This plate is 1.5mm thick laser cut 304 stainless steel and has been rumbled to make it smooth and give it an abraded surface to get a better seal.
