Intentional switching is easy via the slot in the bridge, but the chance of accidental switching is reduced when the bridge is installed. You may already have seen the Cyclaire Switch Guard. This switch bridge has been designed to be used on sockets / light switches where the switches are so close together that it isn't possible to install that switch guard.
