They are robust and can take a single bulb or you could fit it to a triple bulb light fitting if hanging this in a big room.It could be fixed with a ceiling rose/hook and chain to take the weight. You can also buy a Harp shade carrier (about £15 each) and use it as a standard lamp shade.
