Barbless wire is a safer alternative to barbed wire for horses. It is smooth and prevents cuts, unlike Barbed wire which can injure horses. Make sure when you choose Barbless wire for horses it is galvanized (rust resistant), as well as having a good strength (12.5 gauge).
