Offered is a working Roberts R 981 two-band radio receiver in good condition (similar to Sangean SR-1 personal radio). The pocket radio is switchable for either stereo earphones or internal mini speaker; DBB Deep Bass Boost is also switchable but not recommended with internal speaker. Switching to mono has the potential advantage of reduced background noise in poor signal areas. The battery compartment lid is damaged so repair eg with tape needed. Serial no.
